Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1947, Victor moved to Indiana in 1976. Known for his spirited personality and love of life, he was a fan of the Blues Brothers and particularly enjoyed the song "Sweet Home Chicago." Victor had a knack for storytelling, sharing vivid memories from his younger years, and was affectionately dubbed "The GOAT"—The Greatest of All Time—by those who knew him well.
Victor dedicated over 25 years of his career to Brim Concrete, where his hard work and dedication were deeply appreciated. He lived his life unapologetically, following his passions and embracing his individuality.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Naydol; mother, Helen Naydol; sister, Shirley Naydol; and brothers Richard, Eugene, and Thomas Naydol. Victor is survived by his daughters, Shirley Meyer (husband Jim) of Lafayette; Cori Naydol and Jen Naydol, both of Monticello; and son William (Billy) Naydol of Monticello. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Kirsten & Marissa White, Trevin Williams, Kaelee Meyer, Jalyn Vessels, Zaiden Naydol, Jada Vessels, and Lileighana Meyer.
In accordance with Victor's wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no formal service; however, well-wishers are invited to honor his memory by writing a note of farewell on a Busch Light beer can and enjoying it in his honor. A celebration of life for close friends and family will be held at a later date.
Victor will be remembered for his unique spirit, infectious humor, and the indelible mark he left on those who knew and loved him.
