Teyler Michael Lowry

Teyler Michael Lowry, 27, of Waynetown, Indiana, tragically lost his battle to cystic fibrosis on February 22, 2026.

Teyler was born on January 20, 1999, in Westminster, Colorado. He is the son of Wendy Nicole (Gordon Joe) Mills of Waynetown, Indiana, and Troy Michael Lowry of Aurora, Colorado.

Teyler battled cystic fibrosis for the entirety of his life. Despite the limitations that his illness sometimes placed on him- like the fact that he was never able to fulfill his interest in the outdoors and survival- Teyler’s life was one characterized by love and his giving nature. He was a wonderful human being, and he will be greatly missed.

Teyler graduated from high school with a welding certification- something he was proud of. He loved animals- particularly turtles and his pet ferret- and would often pass the time with music or YouTube videos. Perhaps most of all, Teyler loved his family- his nieces and nephews held an especially special place in his heart. He enjoyed time spent fishing with his father, or calling up his brother to blow him a load of nonsense! Through Teyler’s passing, we have learned just how many people he impacted during his short time on this world. He was fiercely protective of his loved ones and would give you the shirt off his back.

Teyler leaves behind his parents; siblings, Tanner (Cailin) Lowry of Waynetown, Kayla Mills, and Joe Fields (Samantha Evans) of North Vernon; nieces and nephews, Holdyn Lowry, Collyn McKenzie, and Braelyn Mills; and grandparents, Jerry & Connie Cork of Crawfordsville, and Terry & Madonna Jane Lowry of Fort Myers, Florida. Also surviving Teyler are Brad & Lisa Cork, Jesse Cork, Kacie Cork, Cyanna Wirtz, Leonard Peterson, Kyla Wirtz, Michael Wirtz, Nicole Taylor, Austin Cannaday, Abbie Northcutt, Theodore & Talia Lowry, Tia, Tabitha, Shannon, Thomas & Lynn Lowry, and Timothy Lowry.

Teyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rita & Bryce Taylor; and his uncle, James Edward Wirtz.

Please join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Darlington Conservation Club from 3-6 PM (ET) as we celebrate Teyler's life and the love we feel for him. Visitors choosing to camp overnight are welcome to stay later.
