Terry L. VerHoeven

Terry L. VerHoeven, age 70, died peacefully at his home in Lafayette, Indiana with his faithful dog Neco by his side on Thursday, October 5th, 2023.

Terry is survived by his son Christopher VerHoeven (wife Janice) of Lakeland FL, daughter Katelyn Johnson of Chalmers IN, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. VerHoeven; mother, Juanita Speckhardt VerHoeven and sister Judith Darden.

He was passionate in helping others which led him to open a counseling service for adolescence and adults suffering from substance abuse issues. Terry attended church as a member of Eastside Assembly of God.  He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors participating in hunting, fishing and golfing.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at 6:00pm at Eastside Assembly of God, 6121 East 50 South, Lafayette IN 47905. All are welcome to attend.
