Terry Lee Megginson

Terry Lee Megginson, 70, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at his daughter's home.

Terry was born on March 20, 1955, in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Everett Megginson and Madlyn (McCloud) Loveless.

On June 3, 2011, he married Carolyn (Jones) Megginson. She survives.

Terry served in the US Navy from 1972 to 1978 and was a member of American Legion Post 11. He retired from Jefferson Smurfit.

Terry enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his granddaughter.

Along with his wife, Terry is survived by his daughter, Nicole Megginson; step-daughters, Shelley (Brannon) Bundy, and Misty Cochran; a granddaughter, Madlyn Megginson; and brother, Marvin "Lewis" (Karen Kauffman) Megginson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Hann; and sister, Rhonda Kent.

A celebration to honor Terry's life and the lives he touched will be held at a later date.
