Sean Adair, 42 of Lafayette, passed in Indianapolis November 9, 2024. Sean had a beautiful heart, but fought many demons. He struggled for years battling addiction and mental health issues. He was a wanderer. He was always walking somewhere and never called just one place home. He kept to himself and was never interested in bringing attention to anything he did. You could say he was a loner in this big world because, he did. Quoting from his favorite musical artist Hank Williams, Jr.
"I’m just a singer, a natural born guitar ringer; kind of a clinger, to sad old songs. I'm not a walk be hinder; I'm a new note finder, but my names a reminder of a blues man that's already gone."
He carried the love he had for his sons like a torch. It burned continuously. He faced many hurdles in his life; But the love from his boys kept him going. Hearing their voice, or telling them "I love you son", and knowing that they loved him too, gave him the strength every day to keep pushing forward in his journey towards his recovery. Sadly, he didn't finish it, but he's free now.
Memorials may be made to his young children. Please make all checks payable to: Bo D. Adair, Colton S. Adair, and Sean W. Adair, which may be mailed to the funeral home.
Thank you and God Bless.
