Scott Johns

Scott A. Johns, 62, passed away on October 13 after a long illness. He was born on July 19, 1964, to John and Betty Johns.  

He graduated from Turkey Run High School with honors.

Before becoming ill, he spent his downtime riding his bike with his brothers and cousins or just out alone. He loved his Harley, and it was the one love that never disappointed him. His sense of humor knew no bounds; he could put a smile on your face. Like his dad and older brother, he was an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed reading and solving brainteaser puzzles, which he was very good at.

Scott is survived by his son, Nicholas, and two grandchildren; his mother, Betty; one sister, Jessie (Gary) Hubbert; one brother, John; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John; his brother, Curtis; and his sister, Jackie.

Cremation was Scott’s choice. A celebration of life will be held at Attica Christian Church on Saturday, November 7, at 1 p.m. (411 East Sycamore Street, Attica, IN). Refreshments will be provided.
