Roger May

Roger Allen May, 73, of Battle Ground, IN, died May 15, 2025. Roger was born September 26, 1951 the son of the late William and Elena May. He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Debra May who were married since 1988. Surviving also is step-daughter, Christy Murray and beloved grandson, Craig Hinson of West Lafayette, IN, sister Molly Coulter and brother, Dan May of Kokomo, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Robertson and brother, Bill May. He is survived by many adored nieces and nephews. Roger was an IU grad and avid sports lover. He worked in the restaurant business for many years and was also a teacher in his early career. After retiring he went back to substitute teaching, where he loved all the students and educating on science and history topics. Roger will be remembered for his sense of humor and kind, gentle loving ways. He has touched many.

There will be a celebration of life planned for a later date.
