Mark Russell White, 69, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away on February 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Mark was born on June 7, 1956, in Kokomo, Indiana, to James Russell White and Thelma Elizabeth (Threlkeld) White. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1974, and went on to work in a variety of fields throughout his life, including car sales, factory work, and running his own sweatshirt business at festivals with his wife.
Everyone who knew Mark knew how much he loved golfing, fishing, grilling, and officiating basketball, softball, and volleyball. One of his greatest joys was officiating games alongside his children. Mark was a member of Delphi First Assembly of God and a devoted man of faith. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Holidays were often filled with lively game nights, where his competitive spirit shone -especially during games of Clue: The Great Museum Caper.
Mark is survived by his wife, Thoma (Flick) White; his children, Marcie White, James (Lyca) White, Kyle White, and Caitlin (Jeremy) Bentle; his stepchildren Amanda (Kevin) Hanzlik and Jessica (Nick) Thompson; his grandchildren, Austin (Emily) White, Jordyne (Skyler) Cook, Jocelyn (Americus) Jones, Madeline Jones, Gabe White, Emeri White, Claire Thompson, Baylor Thompson, and Madison Bentle; his sibling, Cathy McLain; Mother-in-Law Connie K Flick; his nieces, nephews, and 4 great-
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Russell White and Thelma Elizabeth (Threlkeld) White; siblings Mike White, Vicki Peters, and Pamela Heath; his granddaughter, Gracie White; and Father-in-Law Connie L. Flick.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Visitation will be from 2:30 - 3:30 pm followed by the service at 3:30 pm at Delphi First Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Delphi First Assembly of God Children's Ministries in Mark's memory.
