Lisa (Nicholson) Cooper, age 53, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and stories shared with those who knew and loved her. She was born on January 2, 1973, in Tennessee.
Lisa was known for her gift of storytelling. Friends and family will fondly remember how she could keep you on the phone for hours, sharing stories and laughter until the phone battery died. She held strong convictions in her beliefs and stood firmly for what she felt was right. Those who knew Lisa remember her as funny, intelligent, and stubborn, with a quick wit that could bring laughter to those around her. While life brought its challenges, Lisa carried a unique spirit and perspective that left an impression on many people.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, John Cooper. Together, they raised two beautiful daughters, Shelby Cooper and Riley Cooper, who survive. Lisa also leaves behind three grandchildren, Novah, Virginia, and Leif; her parents, Puddy and Melinda Nicholson of Ashland City, Tennessee, and Anita and Joe Bosworth of Rockville, Tennessee; and her brother, Tim Nicholson (wife, Paula) of Lafayette, Indiana. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Her daughters, family, and friends will remember her for the conversations, laughter, and the individuality that made her who she was. Lisa's memory will live on through the many stories shared by those whose lives she touched.
