Lisa Cameron

Lisa (Swoboda) Cameron, 62, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on March 20 in San Diego, California, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Patsy Swoboda.

Lisa devoted her life to caring for others, spending many years working in home healthcare. She was known for her dedication and compassion, and throughout her career, she received numerous recognitions for going above and beyond for those she served. She will also be remembered for her creativity, her faith, and the joy she found in simple, beautiful things.

Lisa is survived by her daughters, Sarah Cameron of Portland, Oregon, and Chelsea Cameron of Madison, Wisconsin, as well as her brother, Steve Swoboda of Miramar Beach, Florida, and his immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Patsy Swoboda. Lisa will be laid to rest with them at Trinity Episcopal Church in Michigan City, Indiana.

In lieu of sending flowers, her daughters invite you to instead plant some in her honor. Or simply take a moment to appreciate the flowers around you. Lisa loved gardening and capturing the beauty of blooms through her photography.
