Larry Mitchel Dyer

We announce the passing of Larry Mitchel Dyer, age 69, of Stockwell, Indiana, which occurred on February 26, 2026. Larry was born on January 24, 1958, to George and Phyllis (Rogers) Dyer.

Larry had many important people in his life. He was a brother to Patty Dyer-Jewell and Lisa Dyer-Butler; father to Larry Michael (Katrina) Dyer, Matthew (Stefanie) Dyer, Nicole Dyer- Summitt, and Mark (Katrina) Dyer; grandfather to Shannon, Levi, Eddie, Nick (Hailey), Alex, and Jesse; and great-grandfather to Landon, Kaylynne, Jacob, and Jackson.

Larry was a machinist at General Automotive/Car Quest for more than 20 years in Lafayette, Indiana. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his sons and lifelong friend Harry Duane Snider.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother,Tommy; and sister, Lisa.
