Karl E Blickenstaff, 56, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed peacefully on December 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Karl was a devoted Father, Grandpa, and friend to many, never knowing a stranger.
He loved to fish, build and fix things, watch the grandkids play sports, and spend time with family and friends.
Karl had a kind heart, always willing to help anyone that asked him. He was also a jokester, making sure that when he walked into a room, everyone knew he was there, especially at church, where he was always getting into trouble for laughing during church service.
Karl is survived by his daughters, Taylor Thomas (Brandon), and Madison Blickenstaff; and his sons, Ryan Blickenstaff (Taylor), and Austin Blickenstaff. He is also survived by his best friend and caretaker, Tammy Blickenstaff. Karl has several grandkids that he loved dearly, along with several nieces and nephews.
Karl was proceeded in death by his parent,s, Richard and Rosemary Blickenstaff; sisters, Peggy Winger and Linda Clark; and a brother, Ken Blickenstaff.
A memorial/celebration of life will be held on January 3, 2026, at Lafayette Pentecostal Church (3616 South Ninth St Lafayette, IN 47909). Visitation will be 10-11 am (ET), with the service starting at 11 am (ET).
