It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Juan Torres Sr., who left this world on February 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Born in Santa Rosa, Texas, on April 26, 1946 ,Juan lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to his family and community.
Juan was the beloved husband of Francisca M Torres, with whom he shared 52 beautiful years of marriage. Their union, which began in 1974, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a family and a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew them.
A master of his trade, Juan worked diligently as a welder, a profession that not only supported his family but also allowed him to nurture his entrepreneurial spirit. At one time, he owned his own welding business, providing for his loved ones and serving his community with skill and integrity.
Family was the cornerstone of Juan’s life. He was a devoted father to his three children, Juan Torres Jr., Criselda Schultz, and Leticia Beaty. His love and wisdom extended to his 10 grandchildren, Austin Schultz, Jewell Schultz, Justice Schultz, Alexis Schultz, Hennessy Beaty, Shane Schultz Jr., Arius Beaty, Cristian Pacheco, Maya Pacheco, and Mercy Pacheco; and his 9 great-grandchildren,Thea Pacheco, Kingston Thomas, Skye Pacheco, Anastasia Garza-Beaty, Scarlett Pacheco, Dean Schultz, Demri Thomas, Nando Pacheco, and Zayah Garza-Beaty. Juan was also a cherished brother to his surviving sisters, Sofia Ochoa, Oralia Chavez, and Rosa Fonseca.
His legacy lives on through his family, who will forever cherish the memories of his kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
In respect of his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Juan’s life. His family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the support and love shown by friends and extended family during this difficult time.
As his family reflects on the life of Juan, they want to share this special message: "We all love you, Grandpa. We will forever miss you."
Juan Torres's life was a tapestry of love, strength, and resilience, woven together by the countless lives he touched. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
