John Talbott, 77, of Danville, Illinois, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life marked by creativity, service, and deep love for his family.
Born and raised in Danville, John was a man of many talents and passions. He proudly served in the National Guard, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and dedication to others.
John’s artistic spirit extended in everything he did. He was a gifted musician, an avid arrowhead collector, and hunter who found peace and connection in the outdoors. His creativity was woven into every part of his life, and those who knew him will remember his artistic eye and the unique way he found beauty in the world.
Above all, John cherished his family. He is survived by his children, Angelina Ingram, Carmelita Taylor, and Joseph Talbott; grandchildren, Rich Ingram, David Ingram, Krystian Ingram, Dustyn Ingram, Ayden Ingram, Sarah Taylor, Patrick Taylor Jr., Ketan Talbott, Marikka Talbott, Avery Talbott, and Joey Talbott; and siblings, Belinda Maxwell, Wilka Thorn, Carla Hastings, Amber Atwell, and Maynard Plecker, each of whom carries his memory in their hearts.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Alberta Plecker and John Talbott; and by his sisters, Tammy Hathaway and Michelle Booher.
John will be remembered for his creativity, his humor, and the unmistakable passion he brought to everything he did. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be treasured by those who loved him.
