James "Bill" William Helmick

James “Bill” William Helmick, 66, of Winchester IN, passed away Saturday June 22, 2024. He was a graduate of Winchester Community High School in 1976, then went on to work for the railroad. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and his dog Sophie, IU basketball, Indianapolis Colts football, and time on the lake. He is preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” R. Helmick; aunt, Jenny Clark. He is survived by wife of 30 years, Beth Helmick; daughter, Nicole (Josh) Aber; son, Kyle (Chrystal) Orr; son, Niles Helmick; grandchildren, Collin and Caleb Aber, Hynleigh Orr, Camille, Alison, and Niles (Buddy) Helmick; mother, Molly Helmick; sisters, Angela (Joe) Abernathy and Toni Conklin (Tony Fouse). The family will be honoring Bill with a celebration of life at 5pm on July 8th, 2024 at The Moose Lodge. 181 N Middle School Rd. Winchester IN 47394
