Greta Lynn (Terry) Becker

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved

sister, Greta Lynn (Terry) Becker, who passed away on February 16,

2024 at the age of 51.

Greta, was born on December 12th, 1972, in Lafayette, Indiana to

Douglas “Barry” and Theresa (Funk) Terry. She grew up in

Lafayette alongside her siblings Douglas Sorenson (Fred Borho),

Megan Terry Kurth (Jamie Kurth) and Camey Madras.

Greta was a loving sister, friend, aunt and mother always willing to lend a

helping hand and a listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious laugh

and smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among

all who knew her. She had a passion for arts and crafts, crocheting and

listening to music which she shared with her family and friends. She

especially enjoyed spending time spoiling her beloved cat, Chapo.

Despite facing many challenges in her life, Greta remained resilient and

persevered through it all. She was a fighter until the end.

Greta is survived by her siblings, daughters Lindsay Terry and Haley

Owen, her niece Piper Rose Morris and a host of other relatives and

friends.

Greta is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and nephew Braxton C.

Madras.

Greta’s celebration of life will be held on February 22nd, 2024, at Harvest Chapel in Lafayette, IN. Services will start at 6pm.

We will miss her dearly, but take comfort in the fact that she is

in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in

eternal peace.
