Dennis Leroy Laflen

Dennis L Laflen, 69, of Forest, IN, passed away peacefully in his home on June 3, 2024 with his wife by his side.

 Denny was born on August 20, 1954. He was born to James Marion and Wilma Jean Laflen in Frankfort, Indiana. He had seven siblings, Rhonda, Allen, Teena, Lisa, Deanna, Tim, and Julie.

 On October 20,1973 he married Alonda K. Sagarsee.  They had two children, Paul and Aimee. Alonda preceded his death on April 24, 2008.

 Denny later married Nancy Whiteman Laflen on January, 1st 2010. They resided in Forest, IN. Denny gained 4 step children, Dara, Dustin, McKenzie, and Zach. Denny and Nancy had 5 fur babies together, Cuppie, Freedom, Pixie, Josie, and Libby.

 Denny worked as an independent contractor and worked at CF Industries for many years. He enjoyed restoring old hot rods, riding motor cycles, going to sprint car races, traveling and spending time with family and his fur babies.

 He is survived by his son and daughter, Paul and Aimee, daughter in-law Kassie, step-children, Dara, Dustin, McKenzie, and Zach. 18 grandchildren, Alexis, Devin, Collin, Kolten, Kaelynn, Macy, Alexis, Kassidy, Cydney, Bryzban, Adi, Freddie, Kylen, Maddilynn, Oliver, Kimber, Matt, and Kannon. 3 great-grandchildren, Parker, Paris, Statler.

 He will be missed by all that were close to him.

 Per Denny’s request there will be no services. Thank you to Comfort Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Middle Fork Cemetery. Memorials be made to Nancy Laflen.
