David Wayne Scott

David Wayne Scott, age 65, of Lafayette, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East in Lafayette, IN. He was born on April 6, 1959 in Lafayette, IN to the late Wayne Lee and Virginia May (Jordan) Scott-Volpi. 

On October 3, 1987, in Phoenix, AZ, David married the love of his life, Teresa (Terry) Scott. David cherished his family and friends and enjoyed every moment spent with them. 

David is survived by; his loving wife of 37 years together, Theresa Scott of Lafayette, IN; two brothers, Dan (wife, Nina) Scott of Wingate, IN, and Joe (wife, Jenny) Volpi of Boswell, IN; a sister, Angela (husband, Thomas) Perkins of Lafayette, IN; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by; his father, Wayne Lee Scott; mother, Virginia May (Jordan) Scott-Volpi; sister, Karletta Smith; brother, Tony Volpi; and maternal grandmother, “Nan” Mildred Jordan.
