Charles E. Roadruck, 80, of West Lafayette, IN passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. He was born in Rensselaer, IN, on April 23, 1944, the son of David E. Roadruck and Ione B. (Hunter) Roadruck at Jasper County Hospital. He was a graduate of Morocco High School, Class of 1964. 

Charlie worked for Inland Steel in the transportation department, retiring after 35 years of service. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Morocco Fire Department. He was a member of the United Church of Morocco, the Masonic Lodge of Morocco, IN #372, and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. During retirement, Charlie enjoyed cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball games, as part of the Event Security Services team. Charlie was also an avid fisherman. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the shores of Lake Leelanau in Traverse City, MI.

 Charlie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Georgiana (Clevinger) Roadruck of West Lafayette; two children: Brian (Melissa) Roadruck of West Lafayette, Jaime (Kaitlyn Thomas) Roadruck of Westfield; 1- grandson, Knox Thomas-Roadruck. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents David E. and Ione B. (Hunter) Roadruck.

 A celebration of life for Charlie will be held later date in Spring 2025.
