Carol Colleen Campbell

Carol Colleen Campbell, 59, of Crawfordsville, formerly of Central Illinois, found peace January 17, 2024 at 1:17 AM with family at her side. Carol had many passions in her life: music, nature, travel and reading, but her biggest passion was her family. Carol was known to all as the neighborhood mom. She is survived by mother, Victoria Zindars (Illinois), brother Richard Campbell (Illinois), children, Nichole (Brian) of Indiana, Shanna (Mike) Williams of Illinois, Jessica Smith of Indiana and son, Trent Potts of Indiana,  former husband and best friend, James Potts of Paxton, IL,  8 grandchildren, Gavin, Keely, Seth, Maxx, Addison Brianna, Braiden and Alexander as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephan and beloved step-father, Mark. Carol lived her life with Joy and wanted to be remembered with joy rather than tears. A private celebration of life will be held at a later time. Flowers or memorials may be sent to her family.
