Listen to Obituary

Brian Christian Poll, 24, of Attica, passed away on March 7, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on October 19, 2001, in Lafayette, Indiana, to David E. Poll and Tabitha J. (Bunch) Poll.

Brian was legen—wait for it—dary in his generosity — the kind of person who could make you laugh even on the hardest days with his sharp, dark humor. He had an incredible ability to connect with every child he met, meeting them with patience, warmth, and genuine understanding. A true video‑game mastermind, he approached every challenge like a puzzle he was destined to solve.

We always knew he belonged to the Straw Hat crew at heart. His hats, his sword collection, and his endless rotation of One Piece shirts made his fandom unmistakable.

Christmas was his season. He loved the glow of the lights, the ritual of setting up the tree, and the joy of giving gifts. And no matter what he received, he was always genuinely excited — a rare and beautiful trait.

Brian loved to fish and insisted that hotdogs only tasted right when cooked over a campfire. He’d build a fire just for that simple pleasure. He adored strawberry cake and Grandma’s spaghetti. And when he really got laughing, that unmistakable Daffy Duck sound filled the room and pulled everyone else into the moment with him. He was lovable, loved, and deeply loving.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda (Turner) Bunch; and his aunt, Jessica (Poll) Woodrow.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Autumn Clore; his father, David E. Poll; his mother, Tabitha (Bunch) Poll; his grandparents, David B. Poll and Kathy (Blankenship) Poll, and Lee Roy Bunch; his brothers, Jacob Bunch, Eric Poll, and Wesley Lowery; his sisters, Elizabeth (Bunch) Huffer and her husband Josh, and Annabella Poll.

He is also survived by uncles, Dan Poll and his wife, Erin, Tim Bunch and his wife, April, Adam Bunch; his aunt Krystal (Poll) Hollingsworth and her husband Dallas; nieces Lily, Hazel, and Mavis Huffer; nephew Thomas Huffer; and many cousins, great‑aunts, and great‑uncles.

Brian would want those who loved him to hold their memories close and replay them like a favorite video‑game level — a way to keep him with us always. He will be missed greatly.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
