Betty Elaine Clonts

Betty Elaine Clonts died Monday, July 6th, 2026 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Betty Elaine Chitwood of Salem, IL and Raymond Lee Clonts of Granite City, IL were united in marriage on February 15th, 1964 in Salem, IL by minister Eugene Hetzel.

 Betty and Raymond lived with their grandson Joshua Ward and his wife Heaven Ward and their three great grandchildren in Camden, IN until her passing. Betty and Raymond have four children: Sue A. Howard, Bryan K. Clonts, Sheri E. Ward, and Kevin R. Clonts. They also have seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

The funeral will be held at The Logansport Church of Christ at 2347 Burlington Ave. Logansport, IN on Saturday July 11th, 2026 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Betty will be laid to rest at the Memorial Lawns cemetery in Wabash, IN.
