"Alexis Waller born in Randolph County, Indiana on October 5, 1965 to father Raymond William Traxler and mother Melody Jane Lorton. Alexis was preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, Richard Waller. She was survived by 2 step children Catherine and Richard Jr., her mother Melody Streight, and brother Jeremy Weaver and her nieces and nephews.
Alexis said she wasn't interested in remarrying. She enjoyed her independence. She also said her husband spoiled her for other men. He showed her that she was valued and she could never settle for less. He always encouraged her to be herself and to know her self worth.
Alexis studied ballet and history. She was especially interested in French history and taught herself to speak French. She had a great appreciation of art and music. She was an avid reader. She loved animals and called her dogs her fur babies. She loved spending time with them and spoiling them rotten. She sometimes donated out of what little she had to help homeless and animal shelters.
In accordance with Alexis' wishes, she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the humane society or a local no kill shelter in her name."
